Create or Edit Access Level Templates

Create or Edit Access Level Templates

User Access Templates are useful if you have multiple Delegated Users with the same access rights. When creating each Delegated User, the template lets you set their access rights quickly and easily according to this preset profile, rather than selecting each access item individually.

The Add/Edit Access Level screen is used to create and edit Access Level Templates in Internet Banking.

To create a new Access Level Template:
  1. Click the Users menu in Internet Banking

  2. Select New Access Level Template – the Add Access Level screen will display. You can also add New Access Level Templates in the View Access Level Templates screen

  3. Type the name of the template in the Name of Access Level field. This name will be displayed on your Access Level Templates list to help you identify each of your templates.

  4. Enter the required Pay Anyone Limit for this Template - this is the maximum amount that a Delegated User can make in Pay Anyone Payment transactions (including Multi Payments) in a calendar day.

  5. Enter the required BPAY Limit for this Template - this is the maximum amount that a Delegated User can make in BPAY transactions in a calendar day.

  6. Enter the required Transfer Limit for this Template - this is the maximum amount that a Delegated User can transfer between accounts in a calendar day.

  7. Click the blue arrow to expand the Access Settings for the relevant account from the list of accounts displayed - this will include all accounts you currently have registered for Internet Banking.

  8. To enable access to an account, Select the desired access in the Enable Account Access drop box. When account access is not enabled, the account function options will not appear. If you choose View access, you can only choose between None or View access for each function on the account.

  9. Select the required level of access for each function on the account, e.g. Pay Anyone, Multi Pay, BPAY etc. Depending on the level of account access, you can choose from 4 levels of account access:

    1. None - this prevents a Delegated User from viewing account information or performing value transactions.
    2. View - this allows a Delegated User to view account information, but not to perform value transactions.
    3. Create - this allows a Delegated User to view account information and create but not authorise value transactions.
    4. Execute - this allows a Delegated User to create and execute value transactions on linked accounts in the same way that you can. Execute access also allows a Delegated User to authorise transactions and requests that require multiple authorisations. This level of access will allow a Delegated User to view account information.
  10. Repeat steps 7-9 for each of your accounts.

  11. You can elect to receive alerts in the form of an email, Secure Mail or SMS for various activities undertaken by a Delegated User using this Access Level Template. Click Change Settings if you wish to monitor the activity of your Delegated Users created with this template.
